New Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer features a villainous Jade

Beyond Good & Evil 2 Beyond Good & Evil 2 teases Jade as the villain

The game was confirmed to be in development past year at the end of the Ubisoft press conference with news that the game would be taking place before the events of the original title. In the climactic moment of the trailer, we see the return of Jade, the main character from the first game.

Ubisoft continued its Beyond Good and Evil 2 presentation by giving us a small taste of pre-alpha gameplay footage, but there really wasn't very much there to dissect.

Another interesting detail is the game's collaboration with Joseph Gordon Levitt's company, HitRECord.

That's if development actually ever gets off to a start, though.

Golfers, tennis players and other athletes in traditionally nonrevenue sports can transfer one time without sitting out. The Division I council adopted a proposal that prevent schools from blocking transfer requests from student-athletes.

HitRecord is a collaborative creative agency, essentially.

At this point, it's unclear just how Pey'j and Jade tie into Beyond Good and Evil 2's storyline. This was clearly unexpected by many since Beyond Good and Evil 2 is supposed to be a prequel. "Unexpected encounters will breathe life into your story as you meet colorful characters, battle vicious mercenaries, and more". Finally stopping one burning question this game has been plagued with since its announcement. Since it was unveiled at E3 2017, the developers have involved the community in the creation process via the Space Monkey Program, using player feedback and ideas to shape the game's development. Yep, the original game, Beyond Good and Evil, has launched back in 2003 and it clearly took them a long time to muster the courage to even speak about the project.

"It's been great working with the folks over at Ubisoft and the Beyond Good and Evil team", said HITRECORD founder and director, Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The release date and platforms for Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be shared at a later date.
