Kim Kardashian West Says Clemency For Alice Johnson 'Fulfilled My Heart'

The effort eventually led the reality TV star to meet with the president and share the story of Johnson, who served 21 years of a life sentence for aiding a multimillion-dollar cocaine ring after losing her job and struggling to support her family. I go 'OK. Kim is coming, ' she's like 'I'm ready.

Kardashian West flew into the Memphis airport around 1 p.m. and went to a house in Southaven, Mississippi for a meeting with Johnson and an interview with Hoda Kotb with the "Today" show.

Johnson said she doesn't believe she would ever be released from prison without Kardashian West's help.

Kardashian, who has been working on behalf of the grandma for months, was the first person to tell the nonviolent drug offender about her commutation back on June 6 but this will be the duo's first in person encounter.

She added, "People have been asking me, 'Are you getting into politics?' I'm like, 'No, I am still doing me, but I enjoy this".

"At first, I - I thought she knew because the news was starting to break and we had to get her on the phone", Kim explained.

Hotstar service is also available on mobile phones and the Roku set-top streaming box by downloading the Hotstar app. Nair further added "All of our spinners have proven themselves in Test cricket, so there isn't much to add to that".

The wife of Kayne West also shared her recollection of the emotional moment, telling Twitter the call "will forever be one of my best memories" and 'a moment I will never forget'. "She was kind of quiet on the phone, and I know her personality enough to know that she would've been screaming or something".

Alice, who has been behind bars since 1996, is unfamiliar with Snapchat, and Kim quickly showed her the ropes, switching from filter to filter.

The President's daughter connected Kardashian with her husband, Jared Kushner, who took an interest in Johnson's case, according to Kardashian West. "And everyone was amazed and I was amazed too".

Last week, an emotional Johnson marveled at her freedom after more than two decades behind bars, grateful for a second chance - and craving seafood. "This has fulfilled my heart and since I feel so fulfilled, why would I stop that?" She said, "I love this woman".

When the reality star initially became involved in Johnson's case, the 63-year-old was not familiar with the uberfamous celeb.

"I plan on continuing to magnify this issue", Johnson said.
