Whether the Golden State Warriors complete the sweep in Game 4 of the NBA Finals tonight or if the Cleveland Cavaliers pull off the unthinkable and win it in 7, there won't be a championship celebration at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. "We're not going to invite either team", Mr. Trump told reporters on Friday.

"Let's not let someone uninviting you to their house take away from that moment, because I think the championship.is way bigger than being invited to the White House, especially with him in there, in my opinion", said James of this year's NBA Final.

Just this week, the president abruptly uninvited the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles from visiting the White House, in part because they planned to bring a "smaller delegation" rather than their full team.

"I'm not surprised. It's typical of him", James, the Cleveland star, said Tuesday of Trump's decision to cancel.

"I know no matter who wins this series, no one wants to be invited anyway", he continued.

Trump suggested the Washington Capitals, who won the Stanley Cup, will visit the White House.

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. Most recently, LeBron James spoke on Trump dis-inviting the Eagles.

"Listen we have a lot of freedom in our country".

Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant said they agreed with James. "It [an invitation] hasn't come up here, but I think I already have my mind made up". "Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!"

When the Warriors won the National Basketball Association championship a year ago, Curry indicted he would not attend a planned White House ceremony, prompting Trump to disinvite the team via Twitter. "We get it at this point, but it's good that guys are sticking to what they believe in..."
