Chemical watchdog blocked from Douma?

The United States, France and Britain launched 105 missiles on Saturday targeting what the Pentagon said were three chemical weapons facilities in Syria, in retaliation for a suspected poison gas attack in the Syrian town of Douma on 7 April.

On Friday, the U.S., France and the United Kingdom launched a series of airstrikes meant to cripple Syria's ability to manufacture chemical weapons, which Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has been using against his own people.

She said it would affect companies "dealing with equipment related to Assad and any chemical weapons use" as Russian Federation needed to feel the consequences for "protecting" the Assad regime.

However, Al-Mayadeen and other pro-regime channels showed video of a odd light, which they claimed was part of the airstrikes, hovering in the sky. We've talked about the victims in Douma. The Opposition does not operate helicopters or use barrel bombs.

The U.S. said no special United Nations permission was required.

"I'm sure this strike, which was a tactical and surgical success, has been a setback" for the Assad regime, Brennan said. They also set off fireworks and unleashed celebratory gunfire. Down a network of tunnels, there were more weapons stored.

However, U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said the United Nations has "provided the necessary clearances for the OPCW team to go about its work in Douma".

"Chemical weapons were used on Syrian men, women, and children in Douma".

Government Urged To Condemn Air Strikes In Syria
The US assesses that the Syrians fired about 40 missiles in retaliation, but none of them endangered the US forces and its allies. Britain says Western powers will study options if Syrian government again uses chemical weapons, but nothing is planned as yet.

It depicts a huge mountain of skulls, all white except for one, which is glowing bright yellow from the effects of a chemical weapon attack. "I still remember that day the cloud was black and the people were choking by the chemical attack", explains Alkhadi.

The United States has been intervening directly in Syrian domestic affairs since 2011, when then-Ambassador Robert Ford toured the country in support of the anti-government protests; the United States has been funneling arms to the radical jihadi opposition since at least 2012; a year ago the Trump administration lobbed a series of cruise missiles against Syria; the USA military now has upwards of 2,000 troops stationed on the ground, in violation of global law. It gave no other details on the intelligence.

Where does the evidence on the gas attack stand?

The suspected chemical attack is the latest issue to heighten tensions between Russian Federation and Western powers.

"We support an on-site investigation to Syria by a group from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)".

The four nations confronted each other in tense emergency talks at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in The Hague as inspectors prepare for a hard, unsafe mission.

"China's stance on chemical weapons is clear". It blamed Islamic State militants for mustard gas use.

Both Russia and the Syrian government have welcomed the OPCW mission. The Security Council is deadlocked over how to replace it.

"When you look at what Russia has done, not just in this country, in Salisbury, attacks on TV stations, on the democratic processes, on critical national infrastructure - of course we have to be very, very cautious indeed", Johnson said on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show on Sunday, when asked about the possibility that Russian could launch cyber-attacks on the National Health Service or electricity grid.
