Authorities Find Two More Bodies of Valencia Family Vanished

Investigators searching for a missing Indian family in Northern California found the body of a 12-year-old boy - the last of four members who died after their vehicle plunged into the rain-swollen Eel river.
The Thottapilly family, from Santa Clarita, disappeared on April 6 while driving in a Honda Pilot through the Redwood Coast Highway on vacation, officials said.
Family members who've coped with the loss say one of the most important things is to always remember the child that they lost. The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office identified the body of the adult female that was recovered earlier from the river as being that of Sandeep's wife, Soumya.
Around 11:30 a.m., a team of searchers on a boat noticed a gasoline smell coming from the water approximately half a mile north of the site where the Thottapilly family's vehicle was reported to have crashed.
A boating team on April 15 noticed a smell of gasoline emanating from the water - around half-a-mile ahead, downstream, of the reported crash site. A tow truck then removed the vehicle, which was encased in a large amount of sediment. A witness recalled seeing an SUV matching the description of the missing Valencia family's vehicle plunge into the Eel River.
The two were found murdered last Monday near Father MacNaboe Park.
