LONDON-The global chemical-weapons watchdog on Thursday confirmed Britain's analysis of the type of the nerve agent used in the poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal.

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons did not name the nerve agent as Novichok, but said it agreed with the UK's findings on its identity.

It added that "the toxic chemical was of high purity".

It noted that there was an "almost complete absence of impurities" in the toxic chemical.

The OPCW had sent a team of specialists to the United Kingdom last month to investigate the March 4 attack.

The watchdog made no assessment of who was to blame for the March 4 attack, which also affected Sergei Skripal's daughter Yulia and a local policeman.

The service on Sunday will be open to people of all faiths and none and will take place at St Thomas Church in the city centre just metres from where Sergei and Yulia Skripal were found.

"Laboratory analysis results (.) Confirm findings of United Kingdom in relation to identity of toxic chemical, "said organization based in The Hague in its report presented in London which gives understanding, refore, that corroborates version of Downing Street in which from outset pointed to that The agent was made in Russian Federation".

"There can be no doubt what was used and there remains no alternative explanation about who was responsible only Russian Federation has the means, motive and record. The Kremlin must give answers", he said.

"We must, as a world community, stand up for the rules based order which keeps us all safe". Claiming that the substance used in the attack had been a Novichok-class nerve agent developed in the Soviet Union, London rushed to accuse Russian Federation of being involved in the incident.

Yulia Skripal's statementthat was distributed by London's Metropolitan Police, is essential because the Russian Embassy at London has criticized the British government rather than letting diplomatic workers to see the Skripals since they were contested. Russian Federation strongly denies it was involved and insists it has destroyed all of its chemical weapons.

Russian Federation insists it has destroyed all of its chemical weapons and has responded angrily to suggestions that it targeted Skripal, a former intelligence officer who sold secrets to the British. She also said she did not yet want to speak to the media.

She had been released from the hospital this week, while Sergei Skripal stays hospitalized.

She lives in Russian Federation but was visiting her father in Britain when they were poisoned.

British authorities "must urgently provide tangible evidence that Yulia is all right and not deprived of her freedom", the embassy said in a statement.

The watchdog's report does not say who was responsible for the attack, since that was outside the scope of its mission.

Blanshard, a doctor with 25 years experience, said nerve agents work by attaching themselves to particular enzymes in the body that then stop the nerves from functioning.
