Case Keenum reportedly plans to sign with Broncos

Vikings closing in on signing Cousins to three-year deal Case Keenum reportedly plans to sign with Broncos

The knock-on effect of Keenum's move could see last season's Denver starter Trevor Siemian traded or released while the likes of Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater are the other two names who could leave the Vikings and assess their options elsewhere.

Keenum completed more than two-thirds of his passes and finished the season with 3,547 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

John Elway is looking to free agency for his fix at quarterback following a season in which all three of his drafted QBs fell flat in Denver.

Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter the Broncos will reel in Keenum, 30, to be their quarterback of the present and future when free agency officially opens Wednesday afternoon.

The Vikings have no quarterbacks under contract for 2018 but have been linked with both Kirk Cousins and Drew Brees, who has yet to be re-signed by the Saints.

BJP's 4th RS nomination causes flutter in polls
Asked if the BJP approached the Central Election Commission on the issue, Gohil said: "Let them go wherever they (BJP) want to". The nomination of Independent Paresh Moolani was rejected since it was not backed by the statutory number of proposers.

The Broncos, who own the fifth pick in next month's National Football League draft, also considered Cousins following a 5-11 season in which Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch all struggled behind a porous offensive line and questionable play-calling before Mike McCoy was replaced by Bill Musgrave as offensive coordinator.

They have not had consecutive losing seasons since 1971 and 1972.

"I still think that we're not too far away", Elway said earlier in the offseason.

Keenum worked with former Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, now a senior personnel advisor in Denver's front office, with the Houston Texans from 2012-13 having joined as an undrafted free agent. "Obviously, we have to get better at that (quarterback) position". The last quarterback to get his first 10-win season at the age of 29 or older and then repeat the same feat the following year? "But I feel like we can get right back in the thick of things pretty quickly".
