If you're a Grey's fan, chances are you already know there's a Grey's Anatomy spinoff coming.

Ellen Pompeo, though not renowned for her explosive interviews and tell-all chats, has ferociously spilled the tea on the show she has been a part of for over 14 years: Greys Anatomy-and McDreamy is coming under fire in a big way. She credited series creator Shonda Rhimes as her inspiration for negotiating and confirmed her own "fuckin' skill".

Ellen believes this wouldn't have been possible without Patrick Dempsey's exit from the show in 2015.

"For me, Patrick leaving the show [in 2015] was a defining moment, deal-wise". In the past, he could be leveraged against her in a "we have Patrick, we don't need you" way that she says happened for years.

I'm 48 now, so I've finally gotten to the place where I'm OK asking for what I deserve, which is something that comes only with age. "So I certainly hope they watch every episode twice".

Then you can expect a full firehouse full of differing personalities, from Grey Damon's charismatic but impulsive Lt. Jack Gibson to Danielle Savre's Maya, a former Olympic athlete and female firefighter with a dark sense of humor. "Nobody's just going to give it to you", Rhimes said. But, this just in, Pompeo is definitely not one of them-at least not anymore. "I know that's the industry perception because I've been this character for 14 years".

Not only is Grey's one of the top drama series on television, it is recruiting new generations of viewers each year as teenagers discover the show on ABC or Netflix, which carries earlier seasons, and join their parents in watching it on the network.

Kicking off the lighter arc on February 1 is a Dr. Bailey-centric episode that uses flashbacks "to fill in the blanks about why Bailey is the way she is about stability, risk, excellence and anxiety", says Chandra Wilson, who plays the endearingly gruff chief of surgery. I'm an actress'"-and an anecdote from a meeting with Harvey Weinstein". If the right role comes along, and it's interesting, then never say never, but I do have three kids.

'Plus, it was in the middle of the day, and he had an assistant there. He didn't try anything on me.

This kind of ownership, she said, is something actors need more of.

But these powerful new titles and serious payday weren't just handed to the doctor drama's lead actress, she revealed. "These poor girls have no real money, and the studio is making a fortune and parading them like ponies on a red carpet", Pompeo wrote. "I mean, Faye Dunaway is driving a f-kin' Prius today". So, she got to a place where she was so empowered that she was generous with her power. "As women, we're like, 'Oh, can I ask for that?"
