The man stole the military vehicle from a military driving school in the Murmansk region, the Guardian reported.

A man rammed an armored personnel carrier into a shop window before climbing through the rubble to steal a bottle of wine in a town in northern Russian Federation on Wednesday morning, according to local media and video posted on social media.

The man drove the tank through a forest and into the town of Apatity.

Local News agencies reported that he badly damaged a parked auto before crashing into the front of a supermarket.

Soon the adventure was over, however, and the "tankman" smashed into a store window, destroying a vehicle parked nearby.

A drunken man on Wednesday commandeered an armored vehicle and crashed it into a store's window in northwestern Russian Federation, hurting no one, police said. I had to laugh when it was pointed out that the shop was not licensed to sell alcohol at the time of the accident.

Pictures from the scene show the tracked vehicle covered in snow and slammed through the shattered glass of the supermarket.

Not surprisingly, it's believed the man already was drunk when he made a decision to take his course of action, the Guardian reports.
