Majority says Congress should investigate sexual harassment allegations against Trump

The GOP isn't getting a political payoff from its tax plan Republicans just received 2 alarming reviews of their tax plan

The GOP tax overhaul benefits the wealthy the most, according to 64 percent of USA voters, while 24 percent say the tax plan benefits the middle class and 5 percent say it benefits low-income people, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday. Further, 64 said the plan benefits the wealthy the most, while 24 percent said the middle class and 5 percent said the poor.

And a poll from Quinnipiac University also found that 29% of those surveyed approved of the bill while 53% disapproved.

The new surveys show that distaste with the Republican plan is worsening as its details emerge. Just 39 percent of Republicans say they think Congress should look into the allegations against Trump, compared to 86 percent of Democrats who feel the same way. While most other Americans say the opposite, 67 percent of Republicans support the effort, 73 percent say it helps the middle-class more than the wealthy, and 86 percent say it will boost jobs and economic growth.

"It's a tremendous bill for jobs and for the middle class", he said.

Forty-one percent of voters said they expect their taxes to go up under the GOP plan, 32 percent said they think it would not have much impact and 20 percent said they think it would reduce their taxes.

That means about 45 per cent of all the candidates it put up in the elections failed to secure their deposit. On the other hand, 54%, 66%, and 75% of SP, BSP and Congress candidates lost their deposits respectively.

The same poll gave President Donald Trump an approval rating of 35 percent and a disapproval rating of 58 percent.

The House and Senate bills must now be reconciled in conference committee before Republicans' tax overhaul effort can be signed into law.

Two new polls released yesterday found that the American public strongly opposes the Republican tax plan that is barreling its way to Donald Trump's desk.

When asked about the most important issue facing the United State right now, 18 percent of voters chose health care as the biggest priority, while 17 percent listed the economy.

The telephone survey of 1,508 voters was conducted by Quinnipiac University from November 29 to December 4 as the Senate pushed through its tax-cut bill, setting up conference committee negotiations on a final version with the House.
