Mom's iPhone X unlocked via FaceID by son

In Less than a week after receiving the iPhone X on the 5th of November, they were able to byPass the Face ID!

The family posted a video of the facial-recognition feat Tuesday on YouTube.

IN WHAT might seem like a neverending list of bad news for the iPhone X, a 10-year-old in the USA appears to have been able to access his mum's phone due to a Face ID mismatch. Apple says that the statistical probability might not be applicable in the case of twins or siblings which have a lot in common regarding facial appearance. The video comprises of 41-second and the family has been successful in unlocking iPhone X.

Attaullah Malik, Ammar's father, said in a LinkedIn direct message to CNET that his son's face can not always unlock his mother's phone. "His face is smaller than my wife's face, and the geometry of their faces don't match, at least to human eyes", writes Malik, who works as a director of technology operations at Taskstream.

Blake Shelton Named People Magazine's 'Sexiest Man Alive'
Another Twitter user wrote: 'Blake Shelton being Sexiest Man Alive is the direct result of Trump's America'. "A sexy drink #donthatemebecauseimbeautiful".

It is possible that the son's age played a role as Apple has said that the "undeveloped facial features" in those under the age of 13 could cause issues with Face ID. So the question is, is this a "flaw" with Face ID and on Apple's part?

At first, she was explaining the fact all concerning the unlocking of the Face ID. However, Malik claims this wasn't the case with his wife and son, and no-one entered the passcode after Face ID rejected a scan, Wired reports.

Apple claims that the chance of a random person unlocking the iPhone X via FaceID is 1 in 1,000,000, compared to 1 in 50,000 for TouchID.

Malik writes in the description of the video that they accidentally discovered the trick when the son was denied access to the newly purchased iPhone X and he glanced over it, "acting exactly as a kid would do". But the researchers' team at security firm Bkav allegedly proved that assurance wrong through a mask that cost $150 (approximately Rs. 9,800) to make.
