Arsene Wenger has admitted that he could sell Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil in January if their current contract situations are not resolved but is confident that his star striker will not lose his focus for Arsenal following Chile's World Cup exit. "I always said the fact that we didn't find an agreement a year ago doesn't mean the player will necessarily leave".

"Both players looked happy here and overall I hope the situation can be turned around".

On the possibilty of Arsenal selling Ozil, Wenger said: "We have envisaged every solution, it is possible we might sell in January".

"No, not at the moment", said Wenger, when asked if talks between Arsenal and the duo were in the pipeline, according to Sky Sports.

For the past few years the Gunners have forced to accept Sanchez being overworked throughout the summer on worldwide duty, reporting back for club duty without a long break.

Imran should respect institutions and appear in ECP: Khurshid Shah
Earlier, a bailable arrest warrant was issued by the ECP on September 14, after Khan failed to appear for the hearing on the case.

"I have concerns. I will decide tomorrow what I will do", said the Frenchman on Thursday.

Alves was up against Sanchez on worldwide duty this week when his Brazil side beat Chile in a World Cup qualifier which saw Sanchez's side crash out of the competition.

"I will have to speak to him", Wenger said. He got some special treatment in a very physical game (against Brazil) and mentally I'll have to assess the situation. I want what is best for him wherever he goes. Arsenal are now six points off the Premier League leaders after signing just two players this summer - striker Alexandre Lacazette and left-back Sead Kolasinac. "I believe that Jack is in the best form that I have seen him for a long time".

Another possible departure from Arsenal in January is Jack Wilshere, after reports indicated he was considering leaving the club in order to force his way into England's World Cup squad.
