Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, Christoph Walkz and Jason Sudeikis star in this new satirical sci-fi comedy directed by Alexander Payne (The Descendants, Sideways). So scientists work out a way to shrink humans to a fraction of their size, and send them to live in a community of very small people. Believing this will solve over-population and create cheaper living costs, they build their own colony of tiny people for a number of years before announcing their achievement to the world.

The movie, which stars Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig, Christoph Waltz and Jason Sudeikis, is out in the U.S. in December, and should arrive in the United Kingdom not long afterwards. The procedure will not only help him and his wife do their part to save the planet - the "only practical remedy to humanity's gravest problem", per IMDb's description of the movie - it also translates their regular-sized earnings into lavish wealth. But it all takes some adjusting, as the trailer points out.
