Apple is preparing three new iPhones for debut September 12. Apple didn't say what it will announce, but that hasn't stopped countless pundits and industry watchers from guessing.

Apple sent out invitations Thursday to a September 12 media event at which the U.S. tech giant is expected to unveil new iPhone models for the 10th anniversary of the culture-changing smartphones. Apple is also expected to discuss a new Apple Watch, and perhaps its plans for its HomePod smart home hub that is to go on sale later this year. The facility sits outside the main ring of Apple Park that overlooks the main campus.

A report from iCulture claims that there will be two iPhone 8 models - the standard iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. Furthermore, the invites confirmed that it would be taking place in the Steve Jobs Theater.

The event will be the first time non-Apple personnel will be allowed on the grounds in any number, giving the world a glimpse of the latest hallowed halls of big United States technology.

Meanwhile, we are also speculating if it does call the new handset as iPhone 10 then how will the company avoid the confusion when the product reaches its 10th generation. The tech giant is reportedly releasing three iPhone models, including the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone Edition. Will the home button actually be a thing of the past?

The screen is also noticeably taller than the iPhone 7 Plus's screen, meaning it could show more of a web page or additional text messages, the people said.

US Ponders Withdrawing From Trade Pact With South Korea
The US and South Korean forces are nearing the end of the 10-day annual Ulchi Freedom Guardian joint exercises. However, Trump said after the latest missile test that negotiations with Pyongyang were "not the answer".

The mobile operating system boasted new camera features, Siri digital assistant made smarter, and the potential for augmented reality applications. The company had nearly 15 percent of the smartphone market in the first quarter of this year, behind Samsung Electronics Co. with 23 percent, according to research firm IDC. Because of limited space, the status bar could change based on the task at hand, according to a person familiar with the testing.

Huawei was the third-largest vendor, with an 11.3 percent market share.

After months of speculation, we finally know when Apple will make its next big announcement.

The annual showcase comes as Apple is facing strong competition from Samsung's new Galaxy Note 8.

Meanwhile, Google-made Pixel smartphones that debuted a year ago will likely get a second generation in the months ahead as rivals field new champions to battle in the prime year-end holiday shopping market.
