It is expected to remain a tropical storm through the first half of next week.

Tropical Depression Eight, located several hundred miles southwest of Bermuda, is forecasted to veer out into the Atlantic Ocean throughout the week, according to forecast models from the National Hurricane Center.

Gert will not be a big problem for the United States thanks in part to a cold front settling into the southeastern corner of the country.

The low pressure area off the coast of Florida is now moving north and is given a slight, 10 percent, chance of becoming a tropical cyclone over the next five days.

A turn toward the north is forecast for tonight, followed by a turn toward the north-northeast by Monday night.

Both men now appear to be committed to a "transition period", but also a "hard Brexit", outside of the European Union institutions.

"Gert" becomes the 7th named tropical storm of the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

There's also another tropical wave that forecasters are watching as of Sunday morning.

Additionally, there is a small area off the coast of Africa with a low chance of development over the next few days. It is now moving to the west-northwest at around 10 to 15 miles per hour and is expected to meet up with a larger area of low pressure southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands in the next few days.

The Atlantic hurricane season runs through November 30.
