Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry: 'I wouldn't go' to the White House

Golden State Warriors center Ja Vale McGee holds up the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy after Game 5 of basketball’s NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Oakland Steph Curry says he doesn't want to visit the White House

All eyes were on Stephen Curry and his teammates at the Golden State Warriors' championship parade on Thursday, but it was his adorable family who stole the show.

Green addressed the super team chatter while addressing the crowd just days after Cleveland's LeBron James - who played with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami - referenced that he had never played on a super team.

Many fans braved the pre-dawn darkness to stake a claim to a seat along the parade route or next to Lake Merritt where the team held a victory rally. The NBA championship-winning boss plans on sticking around much longer than that.

On Wednesday, Curry said that "as a team", the Warriors will "have a conversation" about a possible White House visit. He got off his bus and hopped and shouted as he gave high fives to the crowd. They signed him to establish one of the greatest dynasties the dynasty-heavy National Basketball Association has ever seen.

Kerr - who has been dealing with chronic back issues - said he knows how fortunate he is to coach "a group of players this talented who are together in their primes" following their 4-1 NBA Finals win over defending champions the Cleveland Cavaliers. Absolutely. With that said, Golden State's luxury tax bill could become rather insane in the near future and it would be in the best interest of the organization to lock up Iguodala for a potentially more lucrative deal on an annual basis while keeping the length of the contract to a two-to-three year number.

Kerr shot down a report that the team had unanimously voted to skip a White House trip, if invited.

America's Cup win brings relief, elation for New Zealanders
Bertrand skippered Australia II to victory over Dennis Conner in 1983 to end the New York Yacht Club's 132-year winning streak. The New Zealand crew had been on a mission to wipe out the hurt inflicted when an 8-1 lead was overhauled by the USA team.

And if you're a Golden State fan, that's the real reason to celebrate.

Durant's decision to depart the Oklahoma City Thunder and join the Warriors was criticized by many, and the title was a bit of redemption for the long-time superstar.

If the Warriors do decline or if they accept the expected invitation and individual members of the organization opt not to attend, they will be the latest professional sports champion whose franchise was split in their judgement. The Warriors made one of the great playoff runs of all time.

"You are leaders on the court and in the league, now I ask you to step up and be leaders in our Country as well".

Residents of Oakland, which lost one of its other beloved teams, the Raiders, to Las Vegas, are still reeling from a police scandal and mourning a fatal warehouse fire.

The parade starts at 10 a.m.at Broadway and 11th Street in downtown.
