A Jupiter police officer saw a black Mercedes stopped in the right lane near the intersection of Military Trail and Indian Creek Parkway just after 2 a.m., according to the probable cause affidavit. Police say that Woods was buckled in the driver's seat of his auto, which was running with the brake lights on and the right blinker flashing.

His police report, obtained and published by several media outlets, said Woods was "co-operative" and "confused" when found by police, with "extremely slow and slurred speech". More officers arrived, and a report from Officer Christopher Fandrey, who administered the field sobriety test, provides the most details about what happened next.

At 7.18am, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office's website said that Woods was held in Palm Beach County Jail under his birth name Eldrick Woods.

Woods was then taken to a testing facitily where he blew a 0.00 in a breath test for alcohol, but he admitted to being on four medications for his conditions: Soloxer, Vicodin, Torix and Viox.

Woods is recovering from back surgery - the fourth of his storied career - but had recently declared himself "pain free" as he worked toward a comeback.

Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to online jail records. In a statement released on Monday night, he claimed "alcohol was not involved".

Woods said in a statement Monday that he had not been drinking and was affected by an "unexpected reaction to prescribed medications". I asked Woods if he had taken any medication to which he stated. The revived European brand, which sponsors professional golfer Sergio Garcia, saw the 37-year-old Spanish star win the 2017 Masters after 72 failed attempts at taking home a major title.

This was not Woods' first run-in with Florida police.

It's unclear if Woods was given a breathalyzer at the time he was stopped by police.

"She's been one of my best friends, and I've talked to her about so many different things and she does the same thing with me back and forth", Woods said at the time to Us Weekly. "It's something that you can't go back and change".

Woods was cited for careless driving and fined $164, the AP said.
