Asus Blue Cave antenna-less Wi-Fi router launched at Computex 2017

There's really no way you could miss the huge blue hole in the centre of Asus' new router.

The Blue Cave, according to ASUS, allows you to enjoy "smooth 4K UHD video streaming, lag-free gaming and fast file downloads", as a result.

Killed keeper Rosa King was zoo's 'shining light'
An investigation is underway and the zoo, 130 kilometers (80 miles) north of London , has been closed. Holmes said she and her family ducked into an office until an employee said it was safe to leave.

The absence of an antenna is the biggest highlight of this device since all the other Wi-Fi routers come with at least two antennas in it. The new router, called Blue Cave, has already won the "Best Choice Golden Award" at Computex 2017. Instead, there is a hole in the middle which Asus likes to call a "central aperture" that directs the signal. ASUS has been trying to make the look better so that it no longer remains an accessory that you would want to hide with those antennas and a dumb design. The company has also augmented the capacity of the number of devices which can be connected concurrently to the router. The app also sends out a notification when a new, unknown device connects to the router, and if AiProtection detects a hack. In addition to that users can also configure and manage the router itself through a mobile app, where they can control from seeing the connected devices until being notified when a new one is added To the network as well as the possibility of establishing usage guidelines.

The hole is meant to separate the antennas from the motherboard, which sits at the bottom of the router. The router can be controlled through a smartphone app, just like the Google OnHub Wi-Fi router. The router also supports IFTTT to integrate with IFTTT-enabled digital devices and other tasks to be done automatically. The AiProtection is backed by a lifetime subscription of TrendMicro's Smart Home Network that safeguards your smart and IoT devices against hackers. The ASUS Blue Cave costs $180 and it will be launched globally sometime later this year.
